Put more emphasis in winning the National Soccer League!
That is the call from the Fiji Football Association President.
Following almost a month of delay, the Fiji Sun, GP Batteries National Soccer League starts this week.
Fiji FA has noted in the previous years that some teams do not give high importance to the league and with the decision to select the best 8 teams from the league for the Vodafone Fiji Fact, this will certainly lift the game from the opening round.
Fiji FA President, Rajesh Patel has given a directive to all teams to pull up their socks and put more emphasis into the National soccer league.
The first round of matches will see Nadi hosting Rewa at Prince Charles Park this Saturday at 3.30pm with a live commentary on Radio Sargam.
Other matches will see Tavua up against Labasa and Savusavu, Suva will host Navua and Lautoka will play Nadroga.
