Some Suva soccer players/officials and spectators are highly likely to face life bans from the Fiji FA organized soccer tournaments.

The Fiji FA has started their investigations into the incident that led to an assault on match referee Dhiren Kewal.

Some Suva soccer players and officials ran onto the field to assault Kewal after the final whistle when he awarded a penalty to Labasa which saw them qualify for the final at the BOG tournament.

Fiji FA President Doctor Samsud Dean Sahu Khan said they will take harsh action on players and at the same time they will also investigate the referee and if found guilty of making wrong decisions, he will also face disciplinary action.
