Fiji Day 2007 was today launched by Acting Prime Minister, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau at the Home Affairs Ministry.

Nailatikau said that although a public holiday is set to be celebrated on the 8th, the interim government will hold its formal celebrations on Saturday the 6th at Albert Park.

The Acting Interim Prime Minister also used the opportunity to promote the interim administration's People's Charter on which the Fiji Day will be focused.
