The Fiji cricket team's hopes of playing in the ICC Cricket League Division 3 tournament next year have been dashed.

The Colin Rika skippered side lost both their games so far in the ICC World Cricket Division 4 League tournament in Tanzania.

Fiji first lost to Afghanistan by 80 runs and then in their second match they were thrashed by Italy by 254 runs.

Fiji lies at the bottom of the points table with no points and have three games in hand against Hong Kong, Jersey and Tanzania. Even a win in all those three games won't be enough for them to reach the final.

Fiji plays Hong Kong tomorrow.
