Fiji is one of the best countries in the world to invest in despite the global recession and political uncertainty.
These are the words of the General Manager of Rooster Poultry - Future Farms Limited, Hank Arts who said it had been very difficult to talk about issues affecting businesses with the previous government.
However, he said the current interim government is very open to businesses and ministers are very accessible unlike Australia and New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Rooster Poultry recently achieved ISO22000 certification and according to Arts, this achievement now makes the company a front runner in a vital area of food industry in Fiji.
He said food safety is a growing concern and all local food companies have a responsibility to do all they can to avoid the danger of tainted products.
