Vodafone Fiji Bati's Rugby League World Cup campaign has ended this morning after they were thumped 64-0 by the Australian Kangaroos at Wembley.

The Kangaroos were clinical and ruthless as they raced in to score 11 unanswered tries to give themselves a revenge following their defeat to the Kiwis in the 2008 World Cup final.

Australia's play maker Johnathan Thurston was awarded the Man of the Match scoring the first try and helped set up other tries while former Bati fullback Jarryd Hayne has become the top try scorer in the tournament after scoring three tries in the match.

Meanwhile, in the first semifinal, the Kiwis shocked England with a last minute try to Shaun Johnson to clinch a thrilling 20-18 victory.

Australia will meet New Zealand in the Rugby League World Cup final at 3.30am next Sunday.
