“Be brave and go forth and conquer”
Those were the words of the Minister for Youth and Sports, Laisenia Tuitubou to the Vodafone Fiji Bati team when they presented their I-tatau at Nasoqo House earlier today.
Tuitubou says the Fiji 7s team has set the benchmark for any sports event the country can and will participate in, so he urged the team to put that in their minds as it is the goal every sportsman and woman aims to achieve.
Meanwhile Vodafone Fiji Bati Captain, Saimone Lomaloma says the team has prepared well and they are excited about their match against Canada.
The Vodafone Fiji Bati will meet Canada at 4pm this Saturday in the first game of the Ohana Cup tournament in Hawaii while Tonga will meet Samoa at 6pm in the second match of the competition.
