The last time the Fiji Bati team tasted victory in Port Moresby was 13 years ago, back in 1998, where they hoping to make a repeat of that win this week against the PNG Kumuls.

Coach Jo Rabele said that the 26-12 win against the Kumuls in Mount Hagen on Sunday night is history, and they now have to focus on the game ahead of them.

He added that the morale in camp is high with the boys pushing and challenging themselves during training to achieve a better result this time around.

Rabele highlights the Kumuls are a tough team to beat at home, but with the likes of experienced players like Semi Tadulala who was part of the World Cup team in 2008, Melbourne Storm based Sisa Waqa and Etuate Gusuivalu from the Namatakula Tigers, the team should do well.

The Fiji Bati meet the PNG Kumuls in the second test at 6pm on Sunday.
