The Fiji Bati side is bracing itself for a tough game against the PNG Kumuls.
This is the first of the 2 test matches that the sides will face with the next test to be played in Port Moresby next week.
Last time Fiji won in PNG was in 1998 in Port Moresby.
Coach Joe Rabele said that the Kumuls are always a hard team to beat, especially playing on their home ground.
Rabele added that the Kumuls have a few NRL players in the squad and no team has ever beaten them at Mount Hagen where they will be playing in the next hour.
