The Fiji Bati team created history in Mount Hagen last night after they beat the Papua New Guinea Kumuls 26-12.

Coach Joe Rabele said considering the fact that they were playing against the Kumuls at their backyard and the cold weather condition that they were experiencing he was delighted that the players made Fiji proud.

He added they will now have to forget about the win and focus on the next match against the Kumuls in Port Morsbey on Sunday at 6pm.

The last time Fiji Bati won in Port Moresby was in 1998.
