The management of the Fiji Bati team has given the boys three objectives as the countdown begins for their do-or-die semi-final qualifier against Ireland tonight.

Top on the list is to prove to the world that Fiji is capable in the Rugby League code by winning the Tournament, which Manager Illaitia Naqau said can only be achieved if they beat Ireland tonight.

And despite Bati Prop Iowane Divavesi losing his appeal for a  two match ban for tripping against Scotland last Wednesday and Ula Naqau taking his place, there is still an air of confidence in the side that they can overcome Scotland and give Australia a run for their money.

Meanwhile, Ireland received a boost in their preparations when full back Michael Platt was given the green light to play after being cleared of foul play in Ireland's win over Samoa.

The Fiji Bati/Ireland match will kick off tonight at 8.55pm at the Skilled Stadium in the Gold Coast in Sydney. The winner of this match will take on Australia in the Semifinals on the 15th.
