The Digicel Fiji Barbarians side this afternoon thrashed Ono Kadavu in the finals of the Yaubula Kadavu 7s by 30-7 to win the $2,000 prize money at stake.

Fiji's tries came from Josevata Bole who scored two tries with a try each to Watisoni Votu, Sitiveni and Emosi Vucago.

Manager, Sale Sorovaki said that they gave back $1,000 to the organisers for next year's tournament.

In the semifinals, the Digicel Barbarians beat Service 17-nil and Ono Kadavu beat Nacomoto 17-12.

Meanwhile, the Nasoni Roko led Waimanu side walked home $2,000 richer after they were crowned the new champions of the Fosters Ratu Ravuama 7s after they beat Red Rock in the finals by 19-14.

Waimanu earlier beat Vunimono in the semifinals by 12-7 while Red Rock edged Nasinu 7-5.

It was a painful loss for Nasinu as they had players like Michael Nabuliwaqa, James Brown and Peni Rokodiva Junior.

Red Rock took home $1,000.
