The Digicel Fiji Barbarians team started their campaign at the Uprising Fiji International 7s on a high note after beating Jokhan Realtors Marist by 24-5.
The Barbarians 4 tries came from Osea Kolinisau, Iliesa Nadau, Metuisela Talebula and Jone Tiko and the lone try from Marist came from Inia Saranuku.
In other results, the LICI Police beat the Sailosi Naiteqe Senior coached Samurai Barracudas side by 21-10 and Ratu Filise beat Auckland Invitational by 15-nil.
The next game is between FMF Fiji Warriors that is captained by Emosi Vucago and the URF Wardens.
