The Fiji Badminton team has been dealt a blow with just days remaining for the start of the Pacific Games in Samoa.
The 2003 SPG star player Karyn Whiteside who won 4 gold medals has pulled out due to personal reasons.
Team official Barry Whiteside said they will miss Karyn in Samoa and they will only take three female players Gabriela Wong and Andra and Tanya Whiteside to the Games.
The Pacific Games officially gets underway next Saturday.
