The Digicel Fiji Barbarians 7s team is the number one seeded team for the opening round of the Fiji Rugby Union, Fiji TV 7s series at Churchill Park on Saturday.
With the Fiji 7s team leaving for Sri Lanka this morning the Barbarians side will be made up of the other 20 member contracted players in the High Performance Unit.
Players like Ilai Tinai, Orisi Sareki, Semesa Gonevou, Timoci Nagusa and Timoci Vakadranu will be in this Fiji Babas team.
Other provincial sides that will take part in the one day tournament include Nadroga, Suva, Nadi, Lautoka, Tailevu and B division team Malolo, Ba and Vatukoula.
This is the first leg of the competition with plans to also be played at Nausori, Labasa and Suva next year.
The Fiji TV 7s series kicks-off on Saturday at 8am.
