Digicel Fiji Barbarians 7s team will meet the Samoan Barbarians this afternoon in a warm up match ahead of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s this weekend.
Coach Iliesa Tanivula at training yesterday welcomed the services of his senior players like Jerry Burotu, Watisoni Votu and Miti Nacagilevu.
Tanivula added that the trio will team up with Ilai Tinani, Apisai Nayabo, Nemani Nagusa, Leone Nakarawa, Sakenasa Aca, Apenisa Dralia, Peni Gaunimeke and Waisale Dau in the team they hope to field in the Marist 7s.
He said the game against Samoa Barbarians is important to again assess the performance of players that could force their way into the national 7s team.
The Fiji Barbarians will play Samoa at 4pm this afternoon at the Corpus Christi grounds.
