The Digicel Fiji Barbarians, Samoan Barbarians and Australian Thunderbolts are the three teams that have so far confirmed their place in the Cup quarterfinals of the Uprising Fiji International Sevens after winning their second round of matches.

The Digicel Fiji Barbarians won their second match thrashing LICI Police 29-14, Samoan Barbarians beat hosts Lautoka Hurricanes 26-10 while the Australian Thunderbolts beat Samurai Barracudas 19-7.

Also, Coral Coast Sevens champion Red Rock is out from the Cup competition of the Uprising Fiji International Sevens tournament after losing its second match.

Yamacia beat Redrock 24-14 while in its first match, Red Rock lost to Tokatoka Barbarians by 22-5.

Meanwhile, looking at other matches just played, Tonga thrashed Lomaiviti Barbarians 31-7 while the New Zealand Emerging Sevens team beat URF Army 24-5.
