Fiji has been ranked as Australia's main export market.
This is the revelation by the Australian Trade Commissioner for Fiji and the Pacific Dan Willams.
Speaking at the launch of two initiatives by the Australian Trade Commission, Willams said the promotional campaigns called the "Real Estate and Resort Business Mission" and the other, "See Australia in a Different light," which will start next Monday, will see traders and service providers from Australia promoting their products and services in the country.
In a survey done in 2006, statistics show that Australia's exports to Fiji stood at $531 million Australian, which ranked Fiji as the number one export market for Australia.
Willams said trade with Fiji has seen a growth and this is a forecast of what is to come.
