Australia will kick off their 2010 domestic season with tests against Fiji, England and Ireland.

This year's Tri Nations wooden spooners will tune up for next year's tournament by playing Fiji in Canberra on June 5th, followed by back-to-back tests against England in Perth and Sydney on June 12th and 19th.

Australia will then face reigning Six Nations champions Ireland in Brisbane on June 26th.

ARU chief executive John O'Neill said Fiji reached the quarterfinals of the 2007 World Cup and Ireland won the Grand Slam earlier this year, so it will be great to have them back on their shores.

O'Neill said England finished second on the Six Nations ladder and had a comprehensive win over France during the tournament, so the quality of competition awaiting the Wallabies in 2010 is not to be under estimated.
