Fiji Amateur Boxing Association suffered a blow just two days prior to the Oceania Olympic qualifying championship after one of the top contenders pulled out from the Fiji Boxing team.
Secretary Paula Raqeukai said New Zealand based Michael Temo will not travel with the 5-member Fiji boxing team to Samoa tonight while Australia based Gyan Kumar and Navitalai Cagiloaloa has joined the squad in camp last night.
The Fiji Boxing team leaves for Samoa tonight and the Oceania Olympic qualifying championship will start on Monday.
