The Digicel Fiji 7s management is now working on getting the side to jell together as a team, a weakness that has plagued the side for a long time.
Coach Iliesa tanivula said that in their 12-5 loss to Samoa last weekend, hesitation and wrong decisions cost the side dearly.
He added with the inclusion of Nikola Matawalu and Waqabaca Kotobalavu, team bonding is one area they are working hard on.
Meanwhile, despite beating Fiji last weekend the Samoan 7s team will not be taking the side lightly.
Coach Stephen Betham said that the loss in New Zealand is a motivation for the Iliesa Tanivula coached side to better themselves.
The USA 7s in Las Vegas kicks off this Sunday with Fiji taking on Canada in their first Pool Game at 7.52am.
