The Fiji 7s team will not rely on past results to lead them for a victory at the USA 7s this weekend.

As the team departed for Vegas yesterday coach Ben Ryan stated that it will be a different ball game altogether.

Ryan added the side will take a cautious approach knowing the caliber of teams in their pool.

Fiji last won the USA 7s title back in 2007 in San Diego and has never tasted victory since the tournament shifted to Las Vegas.

The USA 7s will kick off this Saturday where Fiji will play Scotland in its first pool game at 1:06pm before meeting Australia at 4:02pm.

The final pool game is against New Zealand at 9:50am this Sunday and the quarterfinals will be held on the same day but the semis and finals will be played next Monday.
