The Digicel Fiji sevens team will have to start from scratch to restore the lost pride at this weekend’s USA 7s tournament after their disastrous performance in Wellington last week.

Firstly the team has to regroup and focus on the task at hand as most fans are still hurting from our worst performance ever in the history of the world sevens series.

Fiji has reached the USA 7s final in 2006, 2011 but the only time they won was in 2007 under the leadership of Waisale Serevi after beating Samoa 38-24.

Meanwhile, Peni Ravai will be the 20th player for Fiji to make his debut in the IRB 7s series in just a season.

Fiji will play England at 12pm Saturday in the first pool match of the USA 7s.

Fiji will then face Scotland at 3.19pm Saturday and Portugal at 8am Sunday.
