The training in the next two weeks will be more intense for the Vodafone Fiji 7s team.

After the American leg in Las Vegas and Vancouver, four tournaments are left for the sevens rugby debut in the Rio Olympics.

Fiji also has 24 games ahead of them to make things right and touch up on the areas that needs improvement before the summer Olympics.

Team Manager Ropate Kauvesi said that the American leg has produced new stars with the likes of Kitione Taliga and Masivesi Dakuwaqa.

Kauvesi also said that Isake Katonibau and Vatemo Ravouvou are still injured while Amenoni Nasilasila is still recovering from food poising from Las Vegas.

Meanwhile Vodafone Fiji presented a $35,000 bonus cheque to the team for winning the Las Vegas 7s and reaching the semifinals of Vancouver 7s.

After the sixth tournament, Fiji leads with 106 points, South Africa has 105 points while New Zealand sits in third place with 104 points.

The team will start training next week.

Fiji is pooled with Wales, Canada and Korea in the Hong Kong 7s which will be held from the 8th to the 10th of next month.
