The Digicel Fiji 7's team will have to improve on trying to retain their kick-offs and also do not allow their opponents to win their restarts in the South Africa 7's this weekend.

Being in the same pool with Samoa will make it more difficult for the Iliesa Tanivula coached side as they are one of the best teams that will win back their kick-offs.

Against Fiji, the Samoan team retained 3 of their restarts while Fiji only managed to win 1 of their 4 kick-offs although on the scoreboard the result was close.

Also in the semifinal, Fiji lost a crucial line-out throw inside the Samoan half which could have turned the results of the game in their favour.

Coach Iliesa Tanivula has made it clear after the loss in Dubai that this area will be fixed in South Africa this weekend as they try to do better than last year's results where they lost to New Zealand in the final.

Fiji is in Pool B with Samoa, USA and Namibia.

They will open their 2010 South Africa 7's against Namibia on Friday night at 11.43pm.
