The Digicel Fiji 7s team will be wearing black armbands for the South Africa 7s tonight.

The team will unite in paying tribute to the late former South African President Nelson Mandela in the stadium that bears his name.

A moment of silence will be observed before South Africa's first match in the tournament, against Canada at 12.12 tomorrow.

Later in the day all 16 teams will join together on the pitch, wearing black armbands, for the playing of the South African national anthem, followed by a minute's silence.

South Africa and 15 other international teams are set to compete in the Cell C Nelson Mandela Bay South Africa Sevens.

Meanwhile, the Digicel Fiji 7s team will play Australia at 11:28pm tonight before facing France at 2.34am tomorrow then Scotland at 6.14am also tomorrow.

The national side is expected to meet either England, Samoa or Argentina in the Cup quarterfinals.

Barring any upsets Fiji will face either New Zealand, Kenya, South Africa or Wales in the semifinals.

The Cup quarterfinals will start at 11:39pm tomorrow, the cup semis at 3:49am Monday while the cup final will be at 6:30am Monday.
