The Digicel Fiji 7's coaching staff said they have lost two of their best players who did more than what was expected from them to lead Fiji in the final of the Australia 7's.
Assistant coach, Etuate Waqa said Jimilai Naikadawa and captain, Setefano Cakau will surely be missed as competition heats up from this weekend.
There is no doubt that Fiji will be the focus throughout this week where sports journalists from around the World along with officials of all other teams will monitor the Fiji team's training sessions.
Waqa said they are ready for the challenge and are hopeful Pio Tuwai and Aminiasi Nava will fit in well with other players.
Fiji's first game is against Argentina at 7:04pm Friday.
At 10.46pm Fiji takes on United Arab Emirates.
On Saturday morning at 4.06am, Fiji takes on Samoa.
