The Digicel Fiji 7s team is expected to make a few changes in the side to take part in the next leg of the IRB 7s series in NZ and USA.

Injuries to Setefano Cakau, Livai Ikanikoda and Jimilai Nakaidawa with Aminiasi Nava, Nikola Matawalu and Josaia Lotawa being members of the Fiji Military Force, will mean that some of the players in the extended squad will come in as replacements.

At the workshop organised by the 7s coaching staff today the players were given their individual training programmes which they need to follow during this break to be in contention for a place in the final 12 member team.

Only assistant coach, Etuate Waqa will travel with the team to NZ and will return before Alifereti Dere joins the team in USA.

The NZ 7s kicks-off on the 3rd of February.
