The Digicel Fiji 7s team will kick start its campaign in the 7s code in 15 minutes time when the side takes on Korea in the Sri Lanka 7s tournament.

This will be the first time for nearly half of the team to play at an international stage although the tournament is not part of the IRB 7s series.

Digicel Fiji 7s team coach, Iliesa Tanivula will try to use his players at different positions in the three pool matches to find the right combination before the Dubai 7s tournament which will be played next weekend.

Fiji which will be known as the Digicel Fiji Barbarians will play Malaysia at 8pm tonight in the second pool match and will meet Spain in the last pool match at 1.20am tomorrow.

Top teams like New Zealand, Samoa, Australia and Kenya are also participating at the Sri Lanka 7s tournament.
