The Digicel Fiji 7s team will have their first proper training run together this morning before a workout later in the day to iron out the weaknesses that caused their downfall at the Hong Kong 7s last weekend.

Team Manager, Talemo Waqa said the team management and the boys have gone through the video of their games in Hong Kong and they have set out a schedule on the areas they will concentrate on during training.

Waqa added that one of the areas they have to improve on is winning the balls during kick-offs and trying to keep possession.

He added another huge task ahead is naming a new captain to replace Dale Tonawai, who has returned to Fiji due to sanctions placed on military personnel in Australia.

Fiji is in Pool C in the Australia 7s with host Australia, Tonga and USA.

Fiji's opening pool game is against USA at 2.51pm this Saturday.
