Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan is expected to name a strong team today for the Hong Kong and Japan 7's.

Earlier this week Ryan has been working hard to see the best players on the mission to win Fiji’s 15th Hong Kong 7's title.

In the training squad, Ryan kept the 12 players who featured in the last two legs and added lanky forward Pio Tuwai, Wardens Gold duo Abele Yalayalatabua and Kitione Taliga, Apisai Domolailai, Inia Saranavanua, Josaia Wini and also called in Waisea Nacuqu to replace the injured Eminoni Nasilasila.

The forwards who are vying for a spot to Hong Kong are Isake Katonibau, Jasa Veremalua,  Semi Kunatani, Sitiveni Waqa, Viliame Mata, Manueli Laqai, Apisai Domolailai and Josaia Wini.

Ryan said he will pick the team based on performance during their two weeks camp.

The team will be announced at midday today.

Fiji is pooled with Canada, Samoa and Belgium in the Hong Kong 7s which kicks off next Friday.

Fiji will face Samoa in their first game at 12.44am Saturday.
