Digicel Fiji 7's coach Iliesa Tanivula will name his final 12-member squad for the first leg of the IRB 7s series in Dubai and George by mid November.

Tanivula said the 20 players are currently doing their own training and they will be back in camp next Monday.

He added that competition this year will be tougher as new players have been drafted in by their opponents and it will be a guessing game on how they will play.

Meanwhile the Digicel Fiji 7's team has been drawn in a tough pool for the Dubai 7's.

Fiji top Pool D and face a tough trio of matches against European sides, firstly Portugal in the opening match of the tournament and then unpredictable France and crowd favourites England.

Reigning World Series champions Samoa are in Pool A with Kenya, Wales and the hosts, Arabian Gulf.

Defending Dubai champions New Zealand face Argentina, USA and Zimbabwe in Pool B.

Australia top Pool C and face South Africa, whom they beat in the recent Commonwealth Games semi finals in Delhi. Australia will also face Scotland and Russia in its Pool.

The Dubai 7's tournament will be played on the 3rd and 4th of December.
