The Fiji Rugby Union has confirmed that the 12 member Digicel Fiji 7s team will be announced on Monday together with the Women’s team.
Digicel Fiji 7s Coach Alifereti Dere had earlier stated that a 16 member squad will be announced today but FRU has decided that the men’s and women’s teams will be named next week.
Dere has hinted that experienced players and those who have speed to burn are expected to make up the 12 member team.
Dere has already given the final 12 member team to the IRB but that will not be revealed to the public until next week.
The 7s Rugby World Cup will be held from the 28th to the 30th of this month in Moscow.
Fiji is pooled with defending champions Wales, Tonga and Uruguay.
