Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan will name his 14 member squad to the Hong Kong and Singapore 7s today.

After a hard two weeks training, the team looks ready to defend the Hong Kong 7s title and have a feel of the inaugural Singapore 7s.

Some of the areas that Ryan has been working on after the American leg were their defence and the maintaining possession from their breakdowns.

Ryan was also pleased with the new players who have been with the squad in the past few months.

He says this has motivated the experienced players to work hard to keep their spot in the team.

Team Manager Ropate Kauvesi says that they have confirmed the name of the overseas based player that will join the team for the Hong Kong and Singapore 7s.

They will reveal his name today.

Fiji faces tough competition with Canada, Korea and Wales in Pool D.

They are currently leading the World Sevens Series standings with 106 points, South Africa is second with 105 points while New Zealand is in third place with 104 points.

The team will leave for Hong Kong on Saturday morning.
