The Digicel Fiji 7’s has qualified for the quarterfinals in Wellington after beating Cook Islands by 31-14.

Fiji scored 3 tries in the first half, by Epeli Vuniwaqa, Dan Rawaqa and Tomasi Mawi to increase their total to 17-7 at half time.

In the second half, Emosi Vucago and veteran Setefano Cakau both got converted tries to bring home the final score of 31-14.

Fiji's last game is at 8:34 this evening against England, who were lost a shocker to the Cook Islands 21-17.

Earlier, the Digicel Fiji 7s beat Wales by 40-7 in their first pool game.
