We are just hours away from the kick off the Hong Kong 7s and great excitement is building amongst 7s fans as they eagerly await to see the Fiji 7s team play their first game later tonight.
Coach Gareth Baber says they are ready to give their best as Fiji aims to win its first title in the 2016-2017 World Sevens series in Hong Kong.
Fiji has played three finals so far after six tournaments and have only been losing to South Africa.
Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber has named his team which include captain Osea Kolinisau, Jasa Veremalua, Isake Katonibau, Mesulame Kunavula, Joeli Lutumailagi, Waisea Nacuqu, Apisai Domolailai, Vatemo Ravouvou, Kalione Nasoko, Jerry Tuwai, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Amenoni Nasilasila and Setareki Bituniyata.
Bituniyata is the 13th player.
The Hong Kong 7s will start tonight at 10 when Australia will play Samoa.
Fiji will play their first game against Japan at 11.54 tonight, they will take on Wales at 5.12pm tomorrow before they play New Zealand in their final pool match at 9.12pm tomorrow.
The quarterfinals will start at 2.58pm Sunday, the semifinals will start at 7.31pm Sunday while the Final will be held at 11pm Sunday.
Barring any upsets, Fiji is likely to meet France, Kenya or Canada in the quarterfinal, England or USA in the semifinal, South Africa or New Zealand in the final.
