Hours remain until the nation knows the 7s heroes who will be representing our country to the first ever Olympics 7s competition in Rio next month.
Osea Kolinisau, Jerry Tuwai and Kitione Taliga are highly likely to be in the 13 member team after they modeled team Fiji’s Olympic uniforms at GPH this morning.
All the Vodafone Fiji 7s players know if they have been selected or not for the team that will represent our country in the first ever Olympics 7s competition next month.
This is after Coach Ben Ryan had one on one session with the players last night.
Ryan says the players’ reaction on the selection reinforced just how amazing the group is.
The official program of the announcement will begin at 7pm while Bainimarama will announce the 13 member team between 8.15 to 9 tonight at GPH.
12 players will be in the Olympic Games village while one will be on standby as injury cover.

Fiji will take on Brazil in their first Rio Olympics pool game at 4.30am on August 10th, they will then face Argentina at 9.30am before taking on USA at 4.30am on August 11th.
The Telecom Fijiana 7s team will also be announced tonight.
