The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team to defend the Hamilton 7s title has been named.
Kalione Nasoko will lead the side with Jerry Tuwai, Paula Dranisinukula, Josua Vakurinabili, Sevuloni Mocenacagi Mesulame Kunavula, Vilimoni Botitu, Waisea Nacuqu, Meli Derenalagi, Terio Tamani, Aminiasi Tuimaba and Alasio Naduva have also been included.
Apenisa Cakaubalavu is the 13th player.
Nasoko says they have prepared well for the task ahead and asks for support from fans in Fiji and abroad.
While speaking to Fijivillage from Hamilton, Nasoko says they are fully aware of the expectations from fans all over the world.
Coach Gareth Baber says the team is relaxed.
Baber says today they will focus mainly on recovery.
Fiji will take on Wales in their first match of the Hamilton 7s at 10.52am tomorrow, they will then face Argentina at 2.42pm and take on Australia at 6.52pm in their last pool game tomorrow.
The cup quarters will start at 10.36am this Sunday, the semifinals will kick off at 3.16pm and the final will start at 7.10pm this Sunday.
