In a last minute effort though, West Indies managed to score a consolation try for the final score to read 66 - 7.
Coach Joe Savou rested key players Emosi Vucaga and Setefano Cakau for this match giving some younger players to prove themselves for the play offs.
However, it will only be known after the Fiji sevens teams last pool game against Samoa at 2:46 this afternoon on who will finish as runner up from Pool B and take on New Zealand in the quarterfinal.

Samoa 33 - 5 West Indies, Wales 14 - Scotland 12, England defeated USA 28 - 21, Argentina - Chile 35 - 0, Kenya 19 defeated Canada 7.
