The Vodafone Fiji Seven’s second string side will be playing their rivals New Zealand in the Oceania 7s final after they defeated Samoa 24-12 in their semifinal match.
In their semifinal Fiji scored three tries in the first half to lead Samoa 17-5 at half time while they sealed their victory with another try in the second half.
New Zealand beat Australia 19-14 in a tough semifinal encounter.
Meanwhile, The Telecom Fijian side defeated Samoa 31-0 in their third round robin match today.
They had also defeated Cook Islands 50-0 and Tonga 49-7 earlier in the day.
