Vodafone Fiji 7's coach Ben Ryan said defence will be their main weapon against France as they get ready to rock the Sevens Stadium in Dubai this afternoon.

Speaking from Abu Dhabi last night, Ryan said they have watched how France can be aggressive in breakdowns and attacks.

Ryan has advised the players to stay focused and not to get carried away with the win in Gold Coast and concentrate on delivering a good performance this evening.

Ryan said it is all about getting the right mindset and working hard on what the players can do inside the field as well as getting them to eat the right food and have a good recovery session before kick‑off.

He said an added boost is having Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama in Dubai to motivate the players.

The Dubai 7s kicks off today with the Vodafone Fiji 7s team taking on France in their first pool match at 6.44pm.

They will later meet Brazil at 9.44pm.

Their last pool match is against Argentina at 1.52am tomorrow.

The Cup quarterfinals start at 8pm Saturday, the Cup semifinals are at 1.55am Sunday while the Cup final kicks off at 3.42am.
