The Vodafone Fiji 7s will face host Japan in the Japan 7s quarterfinals after thumping England 33-19 in their last pool match.
In the other quarterfinals, England will face France, New Zealand meets Canada while Scotland will take on South Africa.
Fiji scored five tries to outclass the same English side they faced in their 14-12 quarterfinals win of the Hong Kong 7s last weekend.
Fiji’s playmaker Vatemo Ravouvou and lanky forward Semi Kunatani scored two tries each while Josaia Wini also crossed over for a try.
Meanwhile Coach Ben Ryan has confirmed that lanky forward and playmaker Pio Tuwai is up and walking again after a leg injury. He will be treated overnight for the quarter finals today.
The national side will need to improve on their discipline after Isake Katonibau was sin binned for a high tackle.
Fiji will meet Japan at 2.20pm in the first quarter finals today.
Looking at Fiji’s other pool matches, they beat Wales 19-10 and defeated Hong Kong 33-14 to top Pool A.
Meanwhile, the Cup semis kick off at 6.22pm while the Japan 7s Cup final starts at 9pm today.
