Fiji 7s team await Satala’s confirmation
Satala was supposed to replace Pio Tuwai in the England 7's but he did not join the team for the two day tournament.
Also England based, Seru Rabeni did not play throughout the pool game and also in the second day as he is concentrating in playing for the Barbarians this week.
Rabeni is likely to be replaced by former Flying Fijian play-maker Jack Prasad in Scotland.
The Iliesa Tanivula coached side are the defending champion in Edinburgh and will be in Pool D with USA, Wales and Scotland.
Fiji's opening pool game on Saturday night is against host Scotland at 11.09pm.
Last night, Fiji lost 29-28 to England 7's champion Australia in the quarter-final.
They lost 26-24 in the plate final to New Zealand.
In the final, Australia beat South Africa 19-14 in a closely contest match to win their first IRB 7's series since 2002.
Just looking at the overall IRB 7's series points standing, Samoa still leads with 140 points.
They are closely followed by New Zealand with 133 points while Fiji and Australia are tied on 3rd spot with 102 points.
