The Digicel Fiji 7's team may again lock horns with New Zealand in the semifinals of the Adelaide 7's tournament.

Barring any upset in the pool games, Fiji is likely to face Australia in the second quarterfinal while New Zealand is expected to meet either Tonga or Wales in the first quarterfinal.

The Hong Kong 7's finalist South Africa may play against either England or Kenya and Samoa is likely to take on Argentina in the last cup quarterfinal.

Fiji, if they are to avoid meeting New Zealand in the early part of the knockout stages, will have to finish second in their pool and set up a clash with South Africa in the last eight.

But that will all depend in their opening match against England on Saturday.

Meanwhile the main weakness in the side during the Hong Kong 7s tournament was winning the ball from the kickoffs and Team manager Opetaia Ravai said they will be working on that area for the next few days before the start of the Adelaide 7's.
