Fiji 7s keeps starting lineup under wraps
Assistant coach, Etuate Waqa has made four changes to his starting 7 from the side that lost to NZ in the final in Wellington.
Waqa has decided to name new boys Waisea Nayacalevu, Dan Rawaqa, Jone Tiko and Avenisi Vasuinubu in his line-up with only captain Setefano Cakau, Nemani Nagusa and Metuisela Talebula retained from the team in the final.
FRU, development manager, Sale Sorovaki said that the USA 7s offers a lot of recovery time for the players as it is for three days and we should expect a lift in performance from the Fiji team.
The Fiji team to take on Argentina at 12pm tomorrow has been named.
Nemani Nagusa, Waisea Nayacalevu and Setefano Cakau will be in the forwards with Taniela Rawaqa at halfback and Metuisela Talebula at play-maker.
Jone Tiko will be at rover while Avenisi Vasuinubu will run in on the wing.
This is the first time the two brothers, Waisea Nayacalevu and Avenisi Vasuinubu will start for Fiji together.
Fiji will play Argentina at 12 noon tomorrow, at 2.56pm Fiji will face hosts USA and on Sunday at 9.06am Fiji will take on Canada.
Cup quarters final will begin at 1.52pm on Sunday.
Cup semi final will begin at 7.32am on Monday and Cup final will be played at 10.28am.
