The Digicel Fiji 7s faces a must win situation in all of their pool games in the San Diego 7s to avoid a quarter final showdown against current IRB points leaders New Zealand.

The Josateki Savou coached side is in Pool B which includes last week's Wellington 7's finalist Samoa, and Australia who lost to New Zealand in the semi-final plus new comers West Indies.

The Fiji team left for USA last night with the same set of players that lost to Samoa in the quarter finals in New Zealand and will have five days to get used to the San Diego climate before the tournament kicks off.

Meanwhile, Savou has also met with FRU Games Committee members Rafaele Kasibulu and Mosese Nailumu before they flew out of New Zealand.

The San Diego 7's kicks-off on Sunday with Fiji's first game at 8.12am against Australia, at 11.18am they will take West Indies and the last pool game is at 2.46pm against Samoa.
