Digicel Fiji 7s coach Alifereti Dere is working on getting the right mindset of the players from the start of their first match against Spain.
Fiji have been traditional slow starters of the IRB World Sevens Series and Dere said taking on Spain will not be an easy task.
Speaking to Fijivillage from his hotel room in Scotland, Dere said now the players need to step up and give their best in all their games.
Fiji will take on Spain at 9.52pm Saturday in the Scotland 7s.
We then take on Argentina at 12.58am Sunday and our last pool match is against Australia at 5.15am Sunday.
The Cup quarters start at 10.58pm Sunday, Cup semis kick off at 2.58am Monday and the final will get underway at 5.45am Monday.
