"We need to do well in Wellington to stay in contention to win the IRB 7's series".
Those were the words of Digicel Fiji 7's coach Iliesa Tanivula as he prepares to name his final 12 member team for the New Zealand and USA 7s tomorrow.
Speaking on a talk back show on our sister radio station Viti FM last night, Tanivula believes that winning the IRB 7's will depend on how well they will perform in Wellington.
Fiji lies in 4th place in the IRB 7's series with 32 points which is 12 points away from current leaders England who is on 44 points.
Tomorrow, Tanivula will name his final 12 players for Wellington.
Fijivillage sports understands that the likes of Jerry Burotu, Watisoni Votu, Apisai Nayabo, Semesa Gonevou, Nemani Nagusa and Apisai Navoro will be in the forwards.
Emosi Vucago, Kelemedi Bola, Miti Nacagilevu, Ilai Tinai, Peni Gaunimeke and Joeli Lutumailagi will be in the back line.
The final 12 players will be named at the Digicel office in the Kadavu house at 11am tomorrow.
NZ 7's kicks off next Friday.
