Digicel Fiji 7's team coach, Iliesa Tanivula is hopeful that his young side will spark at the Scotland 7's tournament which starts tonight.
Tanivula said his young brigade has the potential to reach the top stages of the tournament.
Meanwhile, New Zealand which did not perform up to expectations in the IRB series is not feeling the pressure.
Captain, DJ Forbes said they just have to work on their mistakes and hope for the good.
He added that the pressure is on Samoan players.
However, Samoa team player, Lolo Lui said whenever they play New Zealand there is an extra passion added in the players to beat New Zealand.
Lui said they will again put a strong battle against New Zealand if the two team meet in the elimination rounds.
The Scotland 7's tournament starts tonight at 8.35 with Samoa playing Kenya in the first game.
Fiji plays Scotland at 11.09pm in its first pool match.
Fiji meets Wales at 2.35am, and plays USA at 5.17 tomorrow morning in its last pool game.
