Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan has advised his players to stay focused if they are to stand a chance to defend their title in Dubai this weekend.

Speaking to Fijivillage from Dubai Ryan said he has reminded the players not to be carried away with the win in Gold Coast and concentrate on delivering a good performance in Dubai and Port Elizabeth.

Ryan added that it is all about getting the right mindset and working hard on what the players can do inside the field as well as getting them to eat the right food and have a good recovery session before the tournament.

Ryan has confirmed that the team is injury free and the players have adjusted well in training.

The Dubai 7s kicks off this Friday with the Vodafone Fiji 7s team taking on France in their first pool match at 6.44pm.

They will later meet Brazil at 9.44pm.

Their last pool match is against Argentina at 1.52am Saturday.

The Cup quarterfinals start at 8pm Saturday, the Cup semifinals are at 1.55am Sunday while the Cup final kicks off at 3.42am.
